Your title / role on campus: Case Manager, Fostering Terp Success 

What I do: Support UMD students who have been in the foster care system, are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and who have no family support network access various basic needs resources (i.e. housing, food, mental health, etc.)

Why do you teach IDEA101? This is a great way for me to connect with a diverse group of new Terps! 

What excites you about design thinking? How have you used design thinking in your work? I love how design thinking get’s people to explore their imaginations without inhibition. Creativity is the focal point, which I love! I’ve started applying design thinking in my daily work. 

What do you do for fun? Cooking up vegetarian meals for family and friends, yoga teacher and learner, and traveling to various bodies of water (beaches, lakes, & rivers).
