Our annual field trip to Washington, D.C. serves as a community kick-off and a get-to-know each other opportunity for Carillon faculty, staff, and students before the start of classes. The CC to DC trip for 2022 is Friday, August 26, 2022, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm EST and takes place across downtown Washington, D.C.

Leadership Opportunities
As Carillon Communities member, students can participate in various leadership opportunities.
Carillon Communities Council
First constituted in Fall 2022, the Carillon Communities Council includes at least one representative from each community. The Council meets monthly with the Program Manager and Carillon staff to share news and experiences.
The application to be a Carillon Communities Council members opens in September.
Peer Mentors
Carillon Communities’ newest cohort benefits from past students' support in the Carillon Studio course (IDEA101). Peer Mentors in IDEA101 assist other students in their learning and transition to college life, creating a positive and enhanced experience for first-year students.
